We hope you've gotten the chance to meet our newest staff member, Dr. Jim Dorroh, who is serving as our new organist. Dr. Jim Dorroh holds degrees from Birmingham-Southern College, The University of Texas (Austin), and Vanderbilt University, with further graduate study at Cambridge University in England.

He has taught organ at The University of Texas, Birmingham-Southern College, and Samford University, where he also served as University Organist. He has been Organist and Director of Music at two of our sister churches here in Mountain Brook, Canterbury United Methodist and Saint Luke’s Episcopal. He comes to us now from South Highland Presbyterian Church and is happy to be joining the distinguished music team at Mountain Brook Baptist Church.

Dr. Dorroh began serving as our organist on Sunday, July 10. Stop by sometime after the service to speak to him and get to know him. We're so grateful for his leadership in our services!
