Discipleship at MBBC
We follow Jesus.
In Philippians 1:9-11, Paul prays the Philippians would abound in love with knowledge and discernment so that they would approve of what is excellent and be filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ to the glory and praise of God. At Mountain Brook Baptist Church, we want to help people become mature disciples of Jesus Christ who are growing in love of God and other people by developing a deeper understanding of the gospel. This growth in Christian maturity ought to lead us to bear fruit for the Kingdom of God.
We seek to accomplish these discipleship goals through corporate worship, Sunday School classes, and Growth Groups.
