Women's Ministry

Growing in relationship with God, learning from one another, serving in Jesus' name.

The Women's Ministry is an interweaving of opportunities specifically designed for ladies of all ages to experience fellowship, small group interaction, and worship. The Women's Ministry will include missions education experiences, fellowship opportunities, and more.   


Spring Women's Small Groups

Our spring groups will start in January! Check the link below to learn more and sign up. 

Crafting with Caroline - Spring Women's Gathering - Sunday, Feb. 8, 4-6 p.m.

Come join the women's ministry for a guided step-by-step painting tutorial of a still life fruit scene. Caroline McVay will lead us. We'll paint and enjoy community with one another. Snacks and drinks will be provided. Cost - $5. Register on realm or by emailing Mary Splawn (Mary@mbbc.org).

Mah Jong Free Play Tuesday, Jan. 13 at 5:30 p.m.

Know how to play Mah Jong and want to play? Come play with friends in the Student Ministry area on the fourth floor! Grace Ann Cooper will be around to help, but some experience is necessary. Sign up in advance to help us plan, but if you decide to come day of, that's ok too!

Mah Jong Beginner's 2 Session Class - Sundays Feb. 22 and Mar. 1, 4-6 p.m.

If you're looking to learn to play Mah Jong, sign up for the class taught by Grace Ann on Sunday, Feb. 22 and March 1 in Heritage Hall. The group is limited to 16 people. You must be available for both Sundays from 4-6 p.m. to sign up. Participation is free but you just sign up on realm or by emailing Mary (mary@mbbc.org).

Co-Ed Group Circuit Training by Kelly Holbert - One Sunday of the Month at 2:30 p.m.

Let’s get together for a co-ed group circuit training using equipment in the fitness room. All fitness levels welcome. Combination of strength and cardio exercises. Bring a mat if you have one. Limit 12 participants. This month, we will gather on October 12 at 2:30 p.m.

Cooks On A Mission

Cooks On A Mission is a group of Mountain Brook Baptist members who try to be the hands and feet of Jesus locally by supporting organizations and ministries in Birmingham. 
 

Backpack Buddies Volunteers Needed

Thanks for partnering with us to provide food for children experiencing food insufficiency. Each week, we take the premade bags to Grantswood Community School on Thursday for distribution.
