Meet Our New Members: The Rayburn Family

Have you met the Rayburn family? Mindy and Barry have three children: Brooks, Kennedy, and Tinsley Grace. They joined our church on September 22, 2024. We hope you'll get to know them a little better through this latest "Meet Our New Member" blog, and that you'll have the chance to connect with them one Sunday in worship.
Tell us about your family. Brooks is in 8th grade, Kennedy is in 6th grade, and Tinsley Grace is in 4th grade. We have lived in Crestline for 11 years.
Where do you work? Barry and I met while working at UAB. I still am on faculty at UAB in the graduate nursing program. Barry is a cardiologist at St. Vincent’s.
What led you to Mountain Brook Baptist Church? Both Barry and I had found our way to the Baptist faith as adults. We were long-time members at Hunter Street Baptist Church. We needed a church closer to home that we could be involved in daily, and we felt at home at MBBC.
