Have you met the Mosley family? Darcy and Joe joined Mountain Brook Baptist on May 12, 2024. They have three kids: Lelia (6), Vera (4), and Herky (2). We hope you'll get to know them a little better through this latest "Meet Our New Member" blog, and that you'll have the chance to connect with them one Sunday in worship.
Tell us about your family. We have three children. Lelia (6), Vera (4), and Herky (2). Lelia is in kindergarten at Crestline Elementary and Vera is in Pre-K at Crestline Elementary. Herky attends MBBC ELC half-day program.
Where do you work? Darcy is a stay-at-home mom and Joe works in finance.
What led you to Mountain Brook Baptist Church? Kacy and Geoff Crane introduced us to the MBBC and the ELC. We began visiting not too long after that. The incredible children's program and warm outreach from everyone at MBBC eventually moved us to join!
What is your favorite hymn? Darcy: "Be Thou My Vision"
What are some of your hobbies and interests? Darcy: I love to read, and I also volunteer at the Botanical Gardens as a docent leading field trips in the Spring for K-8th grade students.
What is a fun fact other people may not know about you? Darcy: I am a crazy cat lady! I am down to two kitties these days (Kusko and Sashimi) which is quite a low number for me!
