Meet Our New Members: The Frazier Family

Have you met Mary Helen and Baylor Frazier? They joined our church on November 23. We hope you'll get to know them a little better through this latest "Meet Our New Member" blog, and that you'll have the chance to connect with them one Sunday in worship.
Tell us about your family. Baylor is from Corinth, MS, and Mary Helen is from Jackson, TN. Baylor graduated from Ole Miss in 2022, Mary Helen graduated from Samford in 2024. We got married in May 2025, and we are so excited to have a church home and get plugged into the community.
Where do you go to work? Baylor works at Yellowhammer News, and Mary Helen works at Arthur J. Gallagher Risk Management Services. We are both pursuing our MBA at Samford; we are taking night classes and will finish in August 2026.
What led you to Mountain Brook Baptist Church? Location! Mary Helen visited Shades Mountain for a long time in college, but once we got married and moved over closer to this area, we wanted to find a new church home.
What is your favorite Scripture passage and favorite hymn or praise song? Mary Helen: My favorite verse is Philippians 4:6-7, and my favorite praise song/hymn changes often, but right now I love "Come, Jesus, Come" by Cece Winan or "In Christ Alone." Baylor: My favorite verse is Psalm 23:4, and my favorite hymn is "Great Is Thy Faithfulness."
What are some of your hobbies and interests? Mary Helen loves going on walks, reading, learning new activities, playing cards with friends, and has a long-time love of dance. Baylor loves hunting, playing golf, grilling, and hanging out with friends.
What is a fun fact others may not know about you? Baylor is good at drawing/being creative. We love to send birthday cards to friends and family with a drawing of something they love. Mary Helen ran a half-marathon, but she wouldn't call herself a runner.
