Meet Our New Members: The Elsberry Family

Have you met the Elsberry family? Dawn, Jason, and their son, Landon, joined our church on June 7. We hope you'll get to know them a little better through this latest "Meet Our New Member" blog, and that you'll have the chance to connect with them one Sunday in worship.
Tell us about your family. We are a very active family. Dawn is a teacher just retiring, Jason is in outside steel sales, and Landon loves to play football and baseball.
Where did you work or go to school? Dawn worked for Mountain Brook Schools, Jason works for CoilPlus in Athens, Alabama, and Landon goes to school at Mountain Brook Jr. High.
What led you to Mountain Brook Baptist Church? We were in search of a church that would be closer to where we live and offer more opportunities for our son to have closer experiences.
What is your favorite Bible story or praise song? Bible story/verse: The story of Queen Esther, Philippians 4:13; Song: "How Great Is Our God" by Chris Tomlin
What are some of your hobbies and interests? Dawn: redo furniture, paint, and organize; Landon: football and baseball; Jason: Golf
What is a fun fact other people may not know about you? We have gone on a family mission trip to Peru. Jason loves to do mission work, and he has been to Peru multiple times through our last church.
