Meet Our New Members: The Clifton Family

Have you met the Clifton family? Katie and Austin joined Mountain Brook Baptist on July 28, 2024. They have a son, Henry David, and are expecting a baby girl in January. We hope you'll get to know them a little better through this latest "Meet Our New Member" blog, and that you'll have the chance to connect with them one Sunday in worship.
Tell us about your family. We have one son named Henry David, and we are currently expecting a baby girl in January 2025.
Where do you work? Katie is a CPA at Harbert Management; Austin is a commercial banker at PNC. We both are graduates of The University of Alabama
What led you to Mountain Brook Baptist Church? We live nearby and really wanted to go to church near our home. We listened to MBBC online one month about a year ago and decided after that to give it a try. We haven’t looked back!
What is your favorite Bible story? Well, our son’s favorite one right now is easily the story of Noah. I think my personal favorite is probably the story of David, how God was able to use him for great things despite his many shortcomings.
What are some of your hobbies and interests? Austin: Golf and hunting; Katie: painting and Pilates; Henry: anything that has to do with a playground, fire trucks, police cars, and heavy equipment
What is a fun fact other people may not know about you? We are a military family; Austin is an officer in the Alabama Army National Guard.
