Have you met Beth and Copeland Wood and their daughter Mary Russell? The Woods joined our church on Sunday, March 19. We hope you'll get to know them a little better through this latest "Meet Our New Member" blog, and that you'll have the chance to connect with them one Sunday in worship. 

Tell us about your family. We have two children: our son is a junior at Elon University in North Carolina, and Mary Russell is a junior at MBHS. Beth works at Crestline Elementary and Copeland works at Wood Fruitticher.

What led you to Mountain Brook Baptist Church? Invitations from multiple friends!!

What is your favorite Bible verse and hymn/praise song? Jeremiah 29:11; "Hosanna, Loud Hosanna" and "Amazing Grace"

What are some of your hobbies and interests? Mary Russell plays golf on the high school golf team and enjoys all the youth activities at MBBC. Beth enjoys gardening and Copeland likes the outdoors
