Meet Our New Members: Haley & Mike Carton

Have you met the Cartons? Haley and Mike recently joined our church and they have an infant son, Bradley. We hope you'll get to know them a little better through this latest "Meet Our New Member" blog, and that you'll have the chance to connect with them one Sunday in worship.
Tell us about your family. Mike and I got married at MBBC four years ago and now have a five-month-old son, Bradley!
Where do you work? We met on our first day of work at ExxonMobil in Houston, and now we both work at a radiation shielding company.
What led you to Mountain Brook Baptist Church? Haley grew up here and was involved in the youth group.
What is your favorite Bible story or verse, and/or your favorite hymn or praise song?
Haley's favorite praise song is "In Christ Alone" (she still tears up every time!), and Mike's favorite Bible passage is currently Psalm 27.
What are some of your hobbies and interests? We became friends while training for a marathon together, and hopefully soon we'll be able to bring Bradley along in a baby jogger!
What is a fun fact other people may not know about you? Neither of us can sing or dance, but we enjoy seeing plays and musicals (and we're always out on the dance floor anyway!)
