Have you met our new member Virginia Howell? Virginia joined on Sunday, December 3. We hope you'll get to know her a little better through this latest "Meet Our New Member" blog, and that you'll have the chance to connect with her one Sunday in worship.
Tell us about your family. My husband Will and I have been married for a little over two years now. We met in college at Auburn.
Where do you work? I am a nurse practitioner at Sharp and Stone which is an OBGYN practice.
What led you to Mountain Brook Baptist Church? My husband’s family are members here, so I’ve been to many services over the years. I have always felt welcome here, so I knew Mountain Brook Baptist would be my church home.
What is your favorite Bible verse? My favorite Bible verse is Matthew 6:31–34. This verse puts everything into perspective for me that God is much bigger than any worry we may have.
What are some of your hobbies and interests? I enjoy cooking, exercising, reading, and attempting DIY projects.
What is a fun fact other people may not know about you? We have a three-legged dog we rescued named Stiles!
