Have you met Ryan Smith? Ryan joined Mountain Brook Baptist on April 28, 2024. We hope you'll get to know him a little better through this latest "Meet Our New Member" blog and that you'll have the chance to connect with him one Sunday in worship.
Tell us about your family. I grew up in Meridian, Mississippi with my parents and one younger brother.
Where do you work? I graduated from Mississippi State, and I work as an Interior Designer at an architecture firm in Avondale!
What led you to Mountain Brook Baptist Church? I had been looking for a church since I moved to English Village, and I wanted to find something in my community.
What is your favorite Bible passage? My favorite passage is Psalm 121. My mom would read it to my brother and me growing and it always brings me so much comfort.
What are some of your hobbies and interests? I really enjoy camping and hiking. There are so many great spots for that around the Birmingham area!
What is a fun fact other people may not know about you? I earned my Eagle Scout over 10 years ago!!
