Have you met James Miller? James joined our church on December 22, 2024. We hope you'll get to know him a little better through this latest "Meet Our New Member" blog, and that you'll have the chance to connect with him one Sunday in worship. 

Tell us about your family. My Sister is Cathy Benton (married to Skip). Sarah Beth Wagner (married to Tom) is my niece. Elizabeth and Claire Bennett are my great-nieces.

Where do you work? Land Surveyor P.L.S. for Gonzalez-Strength & Associates (recently merged with LJA Engineering) in Hoover, Alabama

What led you to Mountain Brook Baptist Church? Tom Wagner and his wife Sarah Beth (my niece) are members here, along with my sister Cathy Benton and her husband, Skip (Sarah Beth's parents).

What is your favorite Bible verse? Deuteronomy 27:17 

What are some of your hobbies and interests? Automobiles

What is a fun fact other people may not know about you? I was a high school football official (referee) for thirty years. (1985-2015)
