Meet Our New Member: Isaac Newell

Have you met Isaac Newell? Isaac joined our church on April 12. We hope you'll get to know him a little better through this latest "Meet Our New Member" blog, and that you'll have the chance to connect with him one Sunday in worship.
Tell us about your family. My mom’s name is Sara Newell, and my dad’s name is Donovan Pierce Newell, Jr. or Van. My brother’s name is Gideon, and he’s in the 9th grade.
Where do you go to school? I go to Shades Mountain Elementary School. I’m in the 3rd grade.
What led you to Mountain Brook Baptist Church? I have gone there since I was a baby. I went to the ELC first, and then I went to Miss Ginger’s 5K class!
What is your favorite Scripture passage and favorite praise song? I like the story of David and Goliath, because it tells me that with God, even small people can do big things. I also like “Good, Good Father” (Chris Tomlin).
What are some of your hobbies and interests? I like wrestling A LOT. I have lots of WWE wrestling action figures.
What is a fun fact other people may not know about you? I like to do experiments at my house.
