Have you met Ann Louise Montgomery? Ann Louise joined Mountain Brook Baptist on March 31, 2024. We hope you'll get to know her a little better through this latest "Meet Our New Member" blog and that you'll have the chance to connect with her one Sunday in worship.
Tell us about your family. My parents are Haley and Luke Montgomery and my brother is James (age five). My aunt, uncle, and cousin go to MBBC as well - Will, Allison, and George Davis.
Where do you go to school? I go to Shades Cahaba Elementary and I am in the third grade.
What led you to Mountain Brook Baptist Church? My parents!
What is your favorite verse and hymn? My favorite verse is: "I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13). My favorite hymn is "Come, Thou Almighty King." I learned it in choir with Mrs. Lassie.
What are some of your hobbies and interests? I enjoy playing soccer, shopping, gymnastics, and playing with my friends.
What is a fun fact other people may not know about you? My name comes from my great-grandmothers. Ann is my dad's grandmother's name and Louise is my mom's great-grandmother's name and my grandmother's middle name.
