We have all heard exciting tales of ancient explorers desperately searching for the “Fountain of Youth.” The quest to live forever has been a dream of many throughout the ages. Even in today’s modern world, medical research is constantly searching for ways to extend our lives. Unfortunately, we know living forever in our current state is a fantasy. Our bodies are only meant to last so many years. Even though our physical death removes our presence from the earth, what we do during our life allows us to still impact the lives of those born after our deaths.
One example of a way your life may impact future generations is through a legacy gift to the Mountain Brook Baptist Church/James D. Moebes Foundation. You can craft your gift in a manner which reflects your values. Thus, the future generations who benefit from your gift will be perpetually influenced by your values. So, even when you have passed on, the impact of your life lives on through your gift.
