Cooks On A Mission: September Cooking Dates, Sale Menu, and Service Opportunities

Cooks On A Mission will be cooking on Friday, September 7 and 14, from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. in the MBBC kitchen. As usual, the ladies from The WellHouse will join us. Come join us — everyone is welcome and there is a job for all!
Our next food sale will be on Wednesday, September 19, from 2-6:30 p.m. The menu will include French Market Sandwiches, Baked Ziti, Poppy Seed Chicken, and Cuban Black Beans and Rice with Pork. All come in 2, 4 and 8 cup sizes for $6, $12, and $24, respectively. All proceeds from the food sale go to support local missions, including The WellHouse, M-Power, Camp Seale Harris, and Children’s Hospital, among other projects. We also sponsor Backpack Buddies at Helena Intermediate School, McAdory Elementary School, and Tarrant Elementary School.
We need your help in delivering to Helena Intermediate each week. Look for our most recent sign-up here! Finally, we are helping to establish a small library on the WellHouse campus. If you have new or gently used books or DVDs you would like to donate, please drop them off at the church office. The ladies enjoy works of fiction and nonfiction as well as Bible studies.
