Churchwide Updates: Winter Church Family Meeting

“Come and see what God has done: he is awesome in his deeds toward the children of man.” (Psalm 66:5, ESV)
I love this verse. Psalm 66 is an invitation to the people of God to come and hear a word of testimony regarding what the Lord has done in the lives of his people. The expectation is that this proclamation of God’s faithfulness will lead the people to rejoice and praise God for his goodness to them. After looking back, the people ought to be filled with hope and expectation as they head into the future, confident that God will be with them every step of the way.
This is my vision for our Winter Church Family Meeting scheduled for Wednesday, February 4, at 6 p.m. in Heritage Hall. In 2025, the Lord was incredibly faithful to us. At our church family meeting, we will look back and acknowledge some of the ways we experienced God’s blessings in the past year. Then, we will look forward to 2026 and beyond as we consider how God is calling us to continue to pursue his mission to help people experience abundant and eternal life in Jesus Christ, our Lord.
I hope to see you this coming Wednesday as we declare how God was faithful to us in the past, rejoice in the present, and prepare for God’s good future.
