Have you met Leslie and Josh Rich? Leslie and Josh joined our church on Sunday, June 4. We hope you'll get to know them a little better through this latest "Meet Our New Member" blog, and that you'll have the chance to connect with them one Sunday in worship.
Tell us about your family. We have a baby girl on the way, Isabel (Izzy), and a sweet golden doodle, Lulu!
Where do you work? Josh: I work for Birmingham Investment Group of Raymond James Financial Services. Leslie: I am a speech-language pathologist at Mountain Brook Elementary for their preschool and kindergarten.
What led you to Mountain Brook Baptist Church? Kely Hatley! He is our neighbor.
What is your favorite Scripture passage/praise song? Josh: Favorite passage: Psalm 23… cliche but I recite it when I feel like my life speeds up too much! Song: "Gratitude" by Brandon Lake. Leslie: Scripture: Psalm 91. Praise Song: "Gonna Be Alright" by Ryan Ellis
What are some of your hobbies and interests? Josh: Golf, exercise, smoking meats, coaching little league baseball, mowing grass/yard work. Leslie: working out/staying active, playing tennis, volunteer with Exceptional Foundation, playing with my dog, Lulu
What is a fun fact other people may not know about you? Josh: I love musicals. Leslie: I am terrified of heights but went skydiving for my 25th birthday.
