Our congregation has consistently ranked as high in importance a vibrant and spiritual worship service. Pleasing and inspirational music is critical to achieving success. For many worshipers, our pipe organ is key to setting the proper ambience in worship. The instrument’s depth of strong reverberation and the subtle nuances of tonal moods is both invigorating and emotive for the congregation encouraging robust singing as well as contemplative introspection.
Like any sort of equipment or facility, an organ requires constant care to ensure it continues to function at its highest level and produce the quality sound we expect. Therefore, the Board of the Mountain Brook Baptist Church/James D. Moebes Foundation has established a fund to allow for the purchase, maintenance, repair, refurbishment, and enhancement of any organ of Mountain Brook Baptist Church. This fund will assist in ensuring generations of worshipers will be able to enjoy the beautiful music produced by an organ.
