Transition to Online

Dr. Dortch shares about our transition to online ministry offerings and a temporary suspension of in-person attendance.

Following the Christmas holiday, there has been a significant spike in coronavirus cases in Jefferson County and the Mountain Brook Baptist Church family.

Our commitment from the earliest days of this pandemic has been to proceed responsibly, incrementally, and flexibly.

In keeping with that commitment, we have transitioned to online ministry offerings & temporarily suspended in-person gatherings, both large and small, through the end of January.

At the end of January we will look at the case rate over a fourteen-day period and make a decision for February. We will continue to monitor the situation going forward on a month by month basis.

The church office will continue to be open normal operating hours.
We will honor scheduled weddings and funerals, with appropriate safety protocols.

Thank you for your understanding and flexibility as together we take these steps to both love our neighbors and protect our strong witness in our community.

Below is a quick reminder of some of the ways you can stay connected from home.
